About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I elegible?

I am flying from JFK to Hong Kong, 2 hours connection, to Shanghai PVG. And then after 3 days leaving from Shanghai PVG to Taipei TPE. Am I elegible for the 144 hours visa at Shanghai airport?

You're not eligible for a visa but for the 144h twov as long as you travel on a US passport.
