Cruise ship visitors

My cruise ship stops I Hong Kong for two days and terminates in Shanghai for my flight home to Canada. What are my visa requirements. I have not confirmed my trip yet.

If you are a Canadian citizen, you don't need a visa for Hong Kong. Since your route is Hong Kong - Shanghai - Canada, you can enjoy 144h visa-free transit in Shanghai as long as the returning flight do not stop in Hong Kong or any other mainland Chinese cities.
