About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for 72 hrs visa in Beijing ?

Im Australia. I like to travel from Bangkok to Beijing. Stay Beijing 48hrs.Then Beijing to Singapore. Stay 1 day. Then to Bkk. Do I qualify for 72 hrs visa? Does all my travel have to be on one airline or can it be many different airlines?

If you are Australian citizen and your itinerary is:

Bangkok - Beijing - Singapore - Bangkok

And you don't have any additional landing between the mentioned places, you are perfectly eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area. Also, you are definitely allowed to use separate tickets and different airlines. You should just print out your flight tickets and have those printouts with you.

By the way, 72 hours visa free transit has been replaced in Beijing by 144 hour visa free transit a couple of years ago.
