Do I require a visa for 72 or 144 days stay in Shanghai?

I am flying from. Canada to Singapore via SH. Do I qualify for 72 or 144 days in SH without a visa?

It is 72 or 144 hours, not days. If your route is Canada-Shanghai-Singapore, then you are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.
