Medical in home country

Would it be acceptable to have the medical to support a z visa done at a private hospital in my home country South africa. Some if the literature indicates that this must be a public hospital. Thank you

As far as I know, you don't need to submit the medical report when applying for work visa. It's required when applying for your work permit by your employer. So contact your employer and ask it to inquire about this at the authority issuing the work permit.
