Multiple entry L visa

How do we apply got a 1 year multiple entry L visa for my husband?
I accepted work in China. Our marriage is legal in SA but not in China. So he needs to come along on a L visa. Any ideas? How do we get an interview with the consulate, so that we can explain to them in person?

If you can get any kind of legal official poof to justify your marriage, it may help. You can call the embassy to see if this is acceptable.

We were just at the consulate lol unfortunately no luck. He needs to go on a single entry 30 day stay L-visa and just extend it... apparently we can renew the visa in china as well. Thanks for the reply and trying to help.
