how much time do i need in visiting Chengdu Qingcheng Mountain?
will one afternoon be sufficient?

Yes, you are suggested to spend half day to tour around Qingcheng Mountain.0

I would suggest a full day. I got there at 11:00 and had to run down 1/2 the mountain to catch the last cable car back down at 5:30. If you plan on taking your time and exploring the temples and not running up then I would suggest allowing a whole day.0
