China Z visa

Hi I am a Vietnamese and i moved to China with my husband with a Q1 visa in 2018 and after we arrived, Its been transferred into a residence permit for one year validity, its also needed to expand into 2 years validity after being overdued next year.
So Can I work legally in China with it? or I do need to have a Z visa, if I need to, can I transfer it into a Z visa?

You can't work in China with Q1 visa. You have to get a Z visa and it's possible to convert your Q1 to Z visa within China.
