Traveling to Hainan Island via Hong Kong

Hi, I am holding Malaysian passport traveling to Hainan Island flying from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong with one night stay in Hing Kong and flying to Sanya the next morning.
Do I need a visa to land in Sanya Phoenix airport?
