If I want to get the double entry visa am I supposed to show the travel plans for both trips?

I will apply tomorrow for the Chinese visa in hong kong. Originally my plan was to go to beijing and shanghai in December, so I already have my in/out tickets and hotel bookings. Do you think I can easily apply for the double entry visa to go to Shenzhen and Guangzhou without having transport tickets and hotel bookings? Or more simply, can I apply for the double entry visa even if I have planned only one trip entry at the time of the application? (I will not include this itinerary to Shenzhen and Guangzhou in my application form as I haven't planned it yet. So they will not know that I want to go there). Thanks

In my opinion, in order to get a double entry visa, you had better provide a rough itinerary in your application form for your second trip, but you don't have to submit hotel and flight bookings for it.
