Generally, you should apply it at least one month in advance and no more than 3 months.
First, you should fill in the the visa application form online via the official website: cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn
Then, make an appointment through the official website (avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn)
After that, you can submit passports and other required documents to the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe with the printed complete application form and signed Confirmation of Online Visa Application as per scheduled appointment, and retain ten fingerprints.
