About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour Visa for visiting Shanghai Disneyland?

Flying out of SFO to Shanghai (PVG) to visit Shanghai Disneyland, staying only 2 nights before flying out of PVG to BKK for rest of vacation. Our trip falls under the 72 hour transit visa correct?

72 hours has been replaced by 144 hours for a long time now. And it's not a "transit visa", it's a transit WITHOUT visa (quite the opposite of what you wrote). Obviously your route qualifies as long as your passport is from one of the 53 listed countries (you didn't mention yours).
