Question

Just to be sure, we fly from Phuket Thailand to Hong Kong, stay there in Disney for 3 nights, then fly to Shanghai, stay there in Disney for 3 nights and then we fly to Amsterdam. This is ok for the 144 free visa I think?

Niels, if you are a citizen of Netherlands, you do not have to bother yourself with these formalities because the citizens of Netherlands can enter China visa free for a period of 15 days in the way as they wish or better to say as if they are entering, for example, UK. If you are not a citizen of Netherlands, this itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in wider Shanghai area and you do not need any kind of visa.
