About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

What are the requirements for a multiple visa if youre from South Africa?

I work for a global company, we have offices based in Shanghai. I was given a opportunity by the company to go work there for a duration of 6 months. I applied for a work permit , however it wasn't possible because i didn't meant all the requirement for a work permit.

For your case, you can apply for a multiple entry M visa so that you don't need to submit the work permit. To apply for an M visa, you need an invitation letter from a business partner in China. You can see whether your company is able to help you with this.
