Part one:
You are advised against a try to obtain a Shenzhen VOA when you land in Shenzhen. Trust me, you will be, almost for certain denied boarding in Singapore and you will find yourself in a huge problem because you will lose your money and also all your plans will collapse. Anyway, there is a solution for that if you want. It is called 144 hour visa free transit. To be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit you have to follow the next steps:
- You can retain your ticket (maybe even a round trip from Kuala Lumpur to Shenzhen)
- Before your departure, you will book also a ferry ticket from Shenzhen Shekou port to Hong Kong Macau ferry terminal through CKS - Chu Kong Passenger transport company website. Please, keep in mind that departure of the ferry has to be at least 25 hours after your scheduled arrival in Shenzhen. When you book your ticket, you will receive an e-confirmation that you will print put an use as a proof that you will be really in a transit.
