Visa necessary for a Myanmar citizen to transit in china

I am a Myanmar. I have 1 year work visa in Japan. I need to transit in China when I go back to Myanmar for a while. Do I need the transit visa in China?

If you total layover in China is less than 24 hours, you don't need it.
