Visa Requirements

Hi Sir
I will be travelling from the Philippines to Shanghai next year to undertake a 7 day cruise on 28th March 2020 to Japan. We will be arriving in Shanghai on 27th March 2020. My Daughter & I have British Passports & my Wife a Philippino Passport. We will arrive back in Shanghai from our cruise on 5th April 2020 and intend to spend 3 days in Shanghai and 5 days in Beijing (travelling by fast train from Shanghai). We then intend to fly home to the Philippines from Beijing on 14th April 2020.
Please advise on our visa situation.

Neil, for your first entry, if the layover is not more than 24 hours, none of you need a visa. For your second entry, all of you need to get a tourist visa.
