Transit and transfer at Shanghai airport

This December, coming from Los Angeles on American Airlines and arriving Shanghai (PVG) at terminal 2 with 8-hours stopover and leaving from terminal 1 on China Eastern Airlines for Sydney.
1. How do I transfer from Terminal 2 to 1?
2. Being US citizen is there a need for visa?
3. Is there a skyteam business lounge or any other lounges at the airport available?

1. You can follow the guide in the airport and walk to T1 actually.
2. You are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit.
3. You can find rest room in T2. It is located near the Entrance of International, HK-Macao-Taiwan Departures Hall.
