About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

three different routes for visa free transit in Shanghai

To take advantage of the 144 hrs visa free transit program, can we travel to Japan, Shanghai ( Transit less 12 hrs), Hong Kong, spend a night in Hong Kong and return to Shanghai ( Transit less 12 hrs )to take a cruise to Japan ( 4 Days), then return to the port of Shanghai to spend 4 days in Shanghai and return to the United States?
We need to know to book tours with you. Regards

Do I understand properly your itinerary?

If I'm not wrong, your itinerary is:

1) Japan - Shanghai (less than 12 hours) - Hong Kong

2) Hong Kong - Shanghai (less than 12 hours) - Japan

3) Japan - Shanghai (4 days) - US

If those are your only stops and if there are no other stops of any kind within mainland China on your flights and on your cruise, you are definitely eligible for the following visa free transit schemes:

1) 24 hour visa free transit

2) 24 hour visa free transit

3) 144 hour visa free transit

Please, have your flight and cruise tickets in hard copy with you.
