About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

US citizen flying Air China BKK-PEK & SingaporeAir PEK-KUL

On 27 Dec I plan to fly from BKK to arrive PEK on Air China and continue on a separate ticket on 29 Dec on Singapore Airline from PEK-SIN-KUL. Can I use the 72-hour Visa-Free Transit?

Yes, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area, under the condition that you have mentioned your all stops. By the way, 72 hours visa free transit has been replaced in Beijing by 144 hour visa free transit a couple of years ago.
