About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I’m holding a Tunisian passport. I’ll travel to Germany from Japan With 2 hours transit in Beijing.

Do I have to apply for transit visa?

No, you don't. If Beijing is your only stop within mainland China, you are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you don't need any kind of visa. Just print out your flight tickets and have them with you. Also, you will declare in Germany at check-in that you will travel to Japan via Beijing using 24 hour visa free transit. That's it.

By the way, you will have to be very fast in Beijing and I hope that you are traveling on a single (through) ticket that will allow you to catch your onward flight with a relative peace of mind.
