About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Visiting China plus a cruise

Hi We are having a conducted tour of China covering Shanghai and Beijing after which we cruise around Japan, for 7 days. Were then return to Shanghai and leave China the same evening for our flight home. Do we need a re-entry visa

I'm assuming you are already getting visa for Shanghai and Beijing? You won't need a visa for the Japan (country A) > Shanghai > Country C. Single entry tourist visa should be enough for the whole trip
