Chinese visa to Shenzhen

Iam an Australian citizen. Do I need visa to travel from chennai India to Shenzhen for two nights direact or via hong kong

If you fly from Chennai to Shenzhen direct, stay there for less than 144 hours, and then leave for a third country, you will be eligible for the 144-h visa-free transit.
