School trip group visa

Hi, i am taking a group of school children on a trip to china, we are staying for 9 nights. does everyone need a visa? can i apply on everyones behalf, so they don't need to come with me to the embassy?

Yes, everyone needs a visa. You can apply on the children's behalf, but the consent letter of their parents may be required if they are minors.
