About:Chengdu Travel

We are staying at Zhongtie Babao Hotel at Qingyang.

We would like to take train on a Sunday morning to Leshan. I google and see Chengdu South Stn is nearer than Chengdu East Stn but it seems the East Stn tickets are sold off faster. There are 2nd class and standing tickets, both at the same price but the Standing tickets get sold off faster. I assume 2nd class means with seat. Is there a reason why they are the same price?

We are staying a night at Emei Shan and we have luggages. Is there a place at the Leshan Station, we can leave our luggage for a few hours when we head to the Giant Buddha? Someone mentioned in the forum we can see the Giant Buddha from a boat? Please advise.

Thank you.

1. Yes, standing ticket and 2nd class with seat are the same price. But you only can buy standing ticket in short-distance high speed train. Besides, if the price of it is too cheap, then it will cause crowded carriage.
2. Generally speaking, you can store your luggage in the train station. After your arrival, you can ask the staff for help.
