Best Visa option

I am an Australian that has been living and working in China for the past 4 years. I have had 2 working visas in the past, and a number of tourist, business and s2 visas. I have just come from a cancelation of work permit (Working visa) and am looking to obtain a visa to re enter China. What would the best route be for reapplying for visa... Tourist multiple entry? Business with company invitation? (Note I will be applying in home country - Australia) Also is track record in old passport of long history of visas a good or bad thing? Would it be wise to apply with fresh passport? Any direction or advice would be appreciated. Kind Regards

What type to apply for depends on your travel purpose. If you sitll want to work in China, you need to apply for a work visa. It doesn't matter whether you use a fresh or old passport, because even if you use a new passport, you are required to submit the copies of your old passport.
