Eligible for 144 hour visa free transit?
Dear Sirs,
Congratulations for your complete web-site about all we need to know to visit China.
I have a question about the visa.
I bought a flight ticket Tokyo-Shanghai-Tokyo (main trip).
And bought with different airline, another ticket Shanghai-Taipei-Shanghai (as a side trip inside the main trip).
Am I eligible to the 144 hour visa free transit?
Details:
I will arrive (ticket 1) from Tokyo, stay 2 days in Shanghai, fly (ticket 2) to Taipei and stay 3 days there.
Then returning, fly (ticket 2) from Taipei to Shanghai, stay 2 days again in Shanghai and depart (ticket 1) to Tokyo.
