About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travel by train, 144 hrs

Hi There,

I am planning to fly to North Korea and returning by train. I will have at least an one entry vias in China (but I have request for two entries).
I am not sure if I will get a double entry Visa, so I am investigating another option.
If I do the re-entry on a train from Pyongyang directed (via Dandong) to Beijing, and there catch the flight the day after, can I apply for a 144hrs? Or a regular visa is mandatory?

Thanks,
Lawrence

A regular visa is required for crossing the border by train. You must fly nonstop to Beijing if you want to utilize the 144-hour transit.
