About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

i want to apply for a visit visa for the first time for tourism purpose only.

i am a private employee not in the government . Can i apply showing a confirmed hotel reservation as i dont have an invitation letter from China since just wanting to go on visit ??

Sorry you can't. Maybe you can book a tour from a travel agency and ask it to get the invitation letter for you.
