About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

3hrs Layover in Guangzhou

Hello,

I’m traveling to Philippines coming from Canada roundtrip and has a 3hr layover at Guangzhou, according to your picture up there it does fall into the 24hr Transit Without Visa,right? I would just like to verify if I have to let the airlines know upon boarding that i’m just transiting for a short period of time? And what do they need to see from me or what docs will they require to see so they don’t send me into applying for the 72hr visa? And it says on your website there is a different service for the 24hr without visa where do I head for that?

Philippines - Guangzhou - Canada

With just 3 hours layover is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Guangzhou. All you need to do is to print out your e-tickets and have them in hard copy. Also, you will declare at the check-in in the Philippines that you will travel to Canada via Guangzhou using 24 hour visa free transit. You will present your tickets and be allowed to board the plane. Assuming that you are flying on a single (through) ticket, you will practically just remain in transit area and after that take your flight to Canada. This is it.
