Metro ride from XinJieKou to South Railway Station in NanJing?

I would like to take metro line from XinJieKou to South Railway Station. Should I travel on Line 1 or Line 3 to save travelling time?

Metro line 1 can take you directly to train station. It takes around 20 minutes with CNY4.
