About:China Train

Is Passport copy accepted to get train tickets

Our Passport is with China Embassy for stay permit. Can we get high speed train tickets using the soft copy of passport? We were also given acknowledgement from China Embassy about our application for stay permit and that our passport is with them. Is that all enough?

I copy of passport cannot work but that acknowledgement offered by embassy should work!
