Tourist Police Registration

I was told that I have to register to the police station as soon as I arrive. I am holding an L visa and is planning to stay for a week. Do I really need to register? If so, how? What documents should I prepare if I'm not staying in a hotel but an Air BNB? Thank you

Yes, you need to register within 24 hours upon your arrival. You just go to the nearest police station accompanied by the host of the Airbnb. The documents inlcude your passport and a form to fill in on site.
