About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Any Limit to the 144-hour Rule

Hi, Everyone.

Will it work if i do:
Los Angeles - Guangzhou(stay for 6 days) - Bangkok(travel for 1 week); Bankkok - Guangzhou(6 days) - Los Angeles.

Question: is there a limit if the 144 hours can be used one time per 3 months/1 year type of restrictions? If no then i can travel to China without a visa.

Thank you!

Your itineraries are fine and they are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Guangdong province twice. There is no limit on a number or frequency of visa free transit use. You can use this option literally every day.

Your conclusion that you can travel to China without a visa is just partly true because not all the areas are covered by 144 or 72 hour visa free transit. Anyway, you are right that you can see a nice portion of China completely visa free under the condition that you are using eligible itineraries although they can appear to be almost ridiculous like Hong Kong - Beijing - Macau :)
