About:Marriage Registration in China

I am on a tourist visa and will marry my girlfriend in China. How to stay with her in China after?

I am on a tourist visa and will marry my Chinese girlfriend, we have been dating online for 1 year now. Can I stay with her in China without residence permit only a Q1 visa after marrying her? And can I change my tourist (L) visa to Q1 visa in China or do I need to apply for it outside China?

yes, you can stay with her on Q1 visa for a certain period and when you get the Q1 visa, you will be required to apply for a Temporary Residence Permit within 30 days. You could change your tourist visa into Q1 visa within China. Just go to the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration office to do that.
