About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Bangkok to Shenzhen to Hongkong via Luohu to Lo Wu

I fly from bangkok to shenzhen baoan airport and few days later cross the border Luohu to Lo Wu on hongkong side by foot. For this i cannot get a ticket. Can i do that? And how it works at immigration baoan airport because i cannot present a onward departure ticket?

Sigi, you are allowed to perform your itinerary:

Bangkok - Shenzhen - Hong Kong

It is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in the entire Guangdong province. Anyway, you are not allowed to take Louhu / Lo Wu border crossing. This is simply, at least at the time being, impossible. The only eligible way is to take a ferry from Shenzhen Shekou port to Hong Kong through CKS - Chu Kong Passenger Transport company website because this is the only way how can you secure to have a proof that you will really be in transit through Guangdong province. After you have bought your ferry ticket, you will receive an e-confirmation that you will print it out and use as a proof of your onward travel from Shenzhen to Hong Kong.
