About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

2 foreigners marrying in China in 2019

Hi. I hold a work permit and residence visa here. I am English. My partner is Iranian (both non Chinese)
I am reading conflicting reports as to whether we can marry in Shanghai. Did the law change recently or can we get married here as long as I hold a residence permit

yes, you can get married in China. The Single Status Certificate authenticated by China embassy in your country is also needed.
