About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

i am flying from London to Shanghai and then 3 days later go to Tokyo do I qualify for 144hr visa

Of course, if those are your only stops and your nationality qualifies. Why would you doubt it? Just note that there is no "144hr visa" but you will be in "transit WITHOUT visa" and you will not be getting any kind of visa at all.
