About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Singapore passport holder staying more than 15days in China.

I am holding a Singapore passport and did not apply for a visa to China. If I travel on 2 Sep to 17 Sep, have I overstayed? If yes, how do I resolve?

yes, you will overstay if you leave on 17th, Sep. You could go to the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration office to apply for a regular visa. Or go to Hong Kong or Macau before 16th, Sep and reenter into Mainland China .

Then you will be treated as having a visa and can stay for up to 30 days.
