do i need a visa for China

Hi I'm coming from New Zealand to attend a trade Fair Monday to Saturday September 2019. I usually pay a fortune for a visa 1 entry each year... do i now not need to?

Your exact flight order is needed to answer. You need a visa if you are not in transit to a third country. If you enter and exit one of the allowed transit zones from countries that are not the same you can stay for 6 days without Visa to attend trade fair.

For example Auckland > Shanghai > Auckland needs a visa.
Auckland > Shanghai > Seoul > Auckland is eligible for 144 hour transit without a visa.
