standing tickets

For information, are the standing-tickets still sold in 2nd class hard-seats carriages of normal trains, nowadays? At same price as hard-seats? Meaning, they are mostly sold during the peak season to allow passengers to reach back their homes/villages on time for holidays célébrations…?
There is no such thing like "standing-ticket" cheaper than "hard-seat", right?
Thanks for the clarification, best regards. Dr Gau
