About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Disney Shanghai

Hello i am USA citizen. I will be traveling from JFK New York airport to Cebu,Philippines. I have a 19 layover in Shanghai China 0400 to 2350. I want to spend the day at Disney Shanghai. Will I need a visa to get to Disney Shanghai or can I get TWOV entry?

You will have to apply for 24 hour free entry permit upon your arrival in Shanghai to be allowed to exit the airport. The issuing of entry permit depends entirely upon discretion of immigration authorities. Anyway, if you are traveling on separate tickets, you will be definitely granted an entry permit or in other words, you will be perfectly allowed to visit your mentioned destination.
