About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

Can we get a 144 hr. Free Visa or anything so we don’t have to apply for a China Visa?

Hello,
We are two U.S. citizens who arrive in Shanghai on United Airlines flight 835 at 1:35 p.m.
on October 25, 2019. We then have to get to Baoshan to board the Celebrity Millennium
Cruise ship which sails at 8 p.m.
Oct. 27, we are at sea until 7 a.m. oct. 28, when we arrive in Incheon to go to Seoul.
Oct. 29, we are again at sea until we arrive in Tianjin at 6 a.m. We have booked a ship
excursion which takes us to Beijing to tour for three days while staying two nights at the
Wanda Vista Beijing, Tower C Wanda Plaza-93 Jianguo Road, Chaoyang District-100022 Beijing, P.R. China. We then board the ship at Tianjan and sail at 6 p.m. to stops in South Korea and Japan before flying out of Tokyo on November 9th at 5:10 p.m. on flight UA6.
We would consider booking tours with you if you can help us avoid having to apply
for the China Visa. We booked with the ship to assure our safety, but could cancel those
excursions if you could make it easier for us to enter and exit the country and give us comparable
tours in English.

Thank you,
Carol Abraham

You need a visa because of the Korea > Beijing > Korea portion

Skipping shore excursions won't solve that either since tianjin port is on the schedule for the boat
