About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visa requirements

We are traveling from India to Vancouver BC and back to India after 15 days. We have 4 hrs short stay at Beijing on both ways. Do we need transit visa. Can we go outside the airport during this period?

Your itineraries are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Beijing and you don't need any kind of visa. Your layovers with duration of 4 hours don't meet the usual requirement of 8 hours to be allowed to exit the airport.
