Will there be snow on the Huashan Mountain at the beginning of December?

Hi,

I’m planning to visit the mountain on December 1st or 2nd. Will there be snow on the mountain? Do I need a good pair of hiking shoes, or a pair of sport shoes should be fine? I’ve heard that the path can be slippery when there’s snow.
