About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Transit visa

I am a nepalese citizen. I am flying from LAX to KTM and have two layovers of less than 24 hours in china in shanghai 4 hours and in Kunming 15 hours which is 19, but my concern is the flight duration from Shangai to Kunming which is nearly 4 hours. Do i need to add the flight duration from Shanghai to Kunming in my 24 hour transit as well?

Yes, of course. Actually, there is a very easy way to calculate your entire transit time. You should just count the hours from your first scheduled landing in China, in your case in Shanghai, until your last scheduled departure from China, in your case from Shanghai. I assume that you will be perfectly eligible for 24 hour visa free transit because the flight doesn't take 5 hours, but it's up to you to calculate your time or you can also present your flights here to be certain.
