About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transiting in Beijing twice. Will I be able to get two 72 hour visas?

I am planning to fly from U.S.A. to Beijing, landing 14:10 on 1 October. I then fly to Mongolia at 08:35 on 4 October. I will return from Mongolia on 12 October landing in Beijing at 13:55. I will then depart Beijing 13 October at 16:10 to fly back to U.S.A.

Will I be able to get a free 72 hour transit for both times I am in Beijing?

Thank you,
Robert Kennedy, U.S.A.

Yes, you will. Your entire itinerary, under the condition that your flights to and from Beijing don't have any additional landing within mainland China, is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing twice.

72 hour TWOV was replaced with 144 hour TWOV a couple of years ago. Also, you should use 144 hour visa free transit terminology because I can see that you have mentioned "72 hour visas"... There are no visas at all, so it is better to use correct terminology to avoid any possible misunderstandings.
