About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

can I use the 144 hr transit visa facility? I have a plane ticket 12 to 16 for Beijing. I am UK nati

I am UK national. I have a flight from Dubai to Beijing and returning to Dubai 11 Sept to 16 Sept 2016. (My journey will start in Karachi Pakistan) May I use the facility of free transit for 144 hours? I will remain in Beijing from 11 t0 12 September?

If you’re flying Dubai-Beijing-Dubai then you obviously need a visa, because it’s a visit to China and not a transit.
