About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

CA to Shanghai to Taiwan

Hello,

I am traveling from Canada to Shanghai from Shanghai I will be flying to Taipei, Taiwan. flying from Taiwan back to CA. I am only going to be in Shanghai for less than 3 days, can I still get a 72 hour hour visa free transit.

Your itinerary:

Canada - Shanghai - Taiwan

Is definitely eligible for 144 hour (72 hour was replaced with 144 hour a couple of years ago) visa free transit in Shanghai. Also, you can fly back to Canada using the same route through Shanghai.

Of course, all I have written is valid in case that you have mentioned all your stops.
