About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Armenian Passport, enter via cruise & depart via train

I am the holder of an Armenian Passport. I intend to enter Shanghai via a cruise from Australia and then leave Beijing via trans Siberian railway. Do I need a visa?

I just hope that your travel will be somewhere later because, as you know, Armenia and China have agreed in May of this year to repeal the visa regime between the two countries. Anyway, the ratification in both parliaments has not yet been done and the visa regime is still actual. So, if your travel date is near, you need a Chinese visa obtained in advance. Just to make it clear, the Trans-Siberian or Trans-Mongolian trains are not eligible for any kind of visa free transit.
